Tweeentyfiivekilometers!!

11.11.07 the day we sat personal records!

1.5 years ago I had maximum ran 7-8km, then after joining the training with AMCI we've been running longer and longer, first milestone was 10k, then our "exam" was 15k, then one day we did 20k (very slowly) so why not join the New Balance Power Race 25k? :-)
1 year ago 3k was a challenge for Karen, we both signed up!

The same day as we arrived at the airport from our "sidetrip" after the BMC Induction Climb, we headed for "Clark Freeport Zone" (Formely the biggest US army base outside of US, now it holds various establishments and private communities.) a very sceneric place! When I was feeling tired of running I would relax a bit and enjoy the good view to try and forget the lactic acid building up in my muscles ;)
Unfortunately I didn't run with my (1 kilo) camera so the 5 water buffalos grassing on big plains with mountain ranges in the background can only be imagined.

In the bag we got at the finishline there was a cream for helping aching mucles, a bandaid for the same and a tablet again for the same and today the day after there is a lot of aching going on! :D

Wow, Gratulerer! Dere ser jo ikke slitne ut engang!

Jeg har bare løpt 21km selv. Nå har jeg ikke løpt på 5 uker! Fikk antagelig en brist under et skogsløp midt i oktober, det gjorde ihvertfall veldig vondt, og jeg halta i et par uker. Har derfor tatt det med ro, og trent alternativt, men nå føler jeg at det er trygt igjen, skal ut en tur i ettermiddag, selv om det er +2C ute, og ganske guffent! Tar det litt med ro, så får vi se åssen det går.

Lykke til videre med trening! Hva er neste mål?

Vi var slitne! ;)
Karen drømmer om Maraton allerede i Desember men jeg tviler på at knærne (mine hertfall) klarer det uten mer trening, var bra sliten i knærene, ja det var værre enn legg og lår. Tok ei lita uka så var formen fin igjen :-)

Her er det stort sett 30 hele tiden, litt for varmt til å løpe i. Derfor skjer alle slike arrangement tidlig om morgenen.

Nå skal jeg nok klare å løpe sammen med deg, vi tar en tur i Februar tenker jeg!

Oioi, Helmarathon! Tror det er en stund til jeg er klar for det!

Men det skal bli gøy med en treningstur sammen, bare si ifra når du skal innom Oslo en tur. Er ikke vant til å løpe utendørs om vinteren, men har tenkt å prøve litt nå utover.
